  • Jacqui Terra

    Owner

    Pilates and Yoga Instructor | Integrative Life Coaching | Teacher Training Lead

    Jacqui Terra shares mindful movement in the form of yoga and Pilates. After completing a 700-hour Pilates training through the Physical Mind Institute in 1998, she continued her movement education adding a yoga certification in 2008. She is recognized by the Yoga Alliance as an ERYT 500 and a YACEP (teacher of teachers). Jacqui is also a certified master transformational life and health coach (CLC, CHC). She guides her clients to holistic empowerment through a focus on a healthy lifestyle, personal values, self-leadership, authenticity, positive mindset, expansion, and self-love.

    She serves clients through private, semi-private, and group movement (yoga, Pilates, Burn*, and barre) and private coaching. She also teaches movement and holistic empowerment at workshops, retreats, and community education talks. She works both in person and remotely depending on the service.   • Gabby Rivelo

    Pilates and Yoga Instructor | Reiki Level I & II Practitioner | Retreat and Teacher Training Lead

    Gabby found yoga when she was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at 14 years old. She immediately fell in love with the relief from her chronic pain and the outlet the practice gave for her mind. Gabby has been working in the movement and yoga industry since 2016. She began teaching Hot Yoga (Bikram Hot 26) and Hot Power Fusion for Core Power Yoga in Boulder. Gabby then completed her teacher training in Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, and Yoga Sculpt. She managed one of the Core Power Yoga locations before her move to the valley. Gabby has completed her 300-hour advanced teacher training for creative movement sequencing and inversions with Authentic Movements. Gabby is an ERYT 500 with a total of 903 training hours. She has taught over 700 classes and over 7000 students around the USA. She is working through her pilates comprehensive certification through the Physical Mind Institute.  

    Gabby is a Reiki Level I & II Practitioner and offers Reiki Energy Treatments within her classes as well as providing Reiki only treatments in our treatment rooms upstairs. Learn more here.

    Yoga Instructor | Retreat and Teacher Training Lead

    Alicia is a classically trained chef who moved to the valley during a tough transition in her 20's. She originally fell in love with yoga and exercise to lose weight. However, over the years, functional fitness has changed not only her body composition, but has turned into more of a practice for mental health. Alicia has learned the importance of consistent movement to provide mental stability and has a passion for sharing that connection with others. She is loud, fun, and unapologetically herself.   • Amber Carpenter

    Pilates Instructor| Pre and Post-Natal Yoga Instructor | Teacher Training Lead

    After spending 20 + years away from our beautiful valley Amber has recently moved back with her husband, 2 young children, and French Bulldog, bringing her love of movement and mindfulness with her. In her time away she earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and subsequently worked in healthcare administration and management for several years. In 2011 Amber completed the Pilates Mat and Reformer training through Balanced Body Pilates and began teaching right away in Boise. After experiencing some big life changes in 2014 Amber heeded the call to yoga and completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher training through Shanti Yoga, followed up by Shanti’s 80 hour Pre-Natal Yoga certification. Finding a real love of working with both pre and post-natal women Amber has spent much of the last few years working with pregnant women and helping them navigate this incredible time in their bodies and mind.

    Amber is passionate about building an inclusive space where people from all walks of life can feel confident in their bodies. Her classes are challenging, yet attainable and lighthearted…. everyone is welcome!

  • Bronwyn Hanson

    Pilates Instructor | Personal Trainer

    Bronwyn was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona but has been coming to Sun Valley since she was six. She just recently moved here full-time in 2019. She graduated from Denison University with a Health, Exercise, and Sport Studies degree. She has been a dancer since age four and has always had a love and passion for fitness. She is certified in Mat Pilates and is currently working through her comprehensive pilates certification.

  • Carly Wilson

    Pilates Instructor

    Carly’s love for Pilates began in 2012 when her mom took her to a reformer Pilates class in an effort to distract her from a breakup. Carly has always loved fitness but her love for Pilates was instant, in ONE SINGLE CLASS she fell completely and utterly in love. In 2013 Carly started a 500-hour Pilates Instructor training program while finishing her Bachelors in Psychology at SDSU. After passing the Pilates Method Alliance certification exam Carly and her mother, Lynn, co-founded Vibe Pilates Studio in Berkeley, California. In late 2017 Carly returned to Southern California. She loved returning “home” to Club Pilates where she worked with an amazing group of clients of every age, race, gender, and fitness level.

    Fast forward to 2022 – Carly, her husband, and their two boys recently moved to Ketchum. Carly believes movement is the best medicine – healing for body, mind, and soul. Join Carly for a class that will push you to your limits but leave you feeling better than when you walked in!

  • Amanda Crockett

    Yoga Instructor

    Amanda grew up dancing in Washington and from there she learned to speak through movement. She discovered yoga at a young age in high school and after feeling burnt out from dance she really delve into the practice of yoga once entering college. She found yoga to be self-healing, transforming her mind, heart and body. Most recently, she has been both a mentor and yoga instructor for teens in treatment. Because of the holistic benefits of yoga and her love for working with people, Amanda is currently enrolled in her 800hr Yoga Therapy Certification.

    Amanda has her 200hr YTT through CorePower Yoga as power yoga is the style she personally practices in the most. She values incorporating mindfulness into her yoga practice as a way to let go of suffering. She supports and encourages individualized yoga practices and offers a welcoming space for all level of yogis.

  • Brooke Hand

    Yoga Instructor

    Brooke is a Wood River Valley native. She has been attending classes at Core Focus and Pure Body Bliss since its opening many years ago! In the 12 years Brooke spent away from the valley, she graduated with her Masters degree in Education, travelled the world, and began her career as an elementary school teacher. She is happy to be living in Hailey with her two young children and close to her family.

    Brooke has been an elementary school teacher for many years and is now widening her horizons by jumping into the world of yoga instruction. She completed her 200 hour teacher training with Shanti Yoga in Boise in 2023 as well as her 50 hour Yoga Sculpt training at Core Focus. Brooke has fallen in love with mindful movement that nurtures the physical body and emotional well being. She believes working out should be fun and should fill the soul. She is very excited to be a part of the Core Focus team

    Mari is fantastic. She is one of the most down-to-earth people and her presence at CoreFocus is grounding and wonderful. We are so very grateful to have her! Mari teaches Restorative Yin Yoga and makes fabulous baked goods, under the name of Simple Kneads.

  • Julia Sarewitz

    Shamanic Practitioner | Meditation Guide

    Julia is a meditation teacher, shamanic practitioner and Usui Reiki Master. She began her personal practice over a decade ago to help with troubled sleep, and quickly found that the benefits of a personal practice are endlessly expansive, bringing more ease and joy into all aspects of life. Julia teaches meditation in a way that is easy to learn and bathed in lightness and happiness. Her approach comes from a deeply spiritual place, yet she understands their impact on one’s holistic wellness through the lens of science and research.

    Julia has a Masters of Psychology in Spirituality, Mind and Body from Columbia University. She is a lifelong teacher and has taught hundreds of students from ages two through adulthood. She believes this is important and exciting work for students of all ages.

    Julia (a snow-chaser) moved to the Wood River Valley last fall with her husband, Adam (a sun-chaser) and son, Nash. They are excited and grateful for the incredible community of kind and adventurous people here!

  • Britlynn Ward, LAc

    Licensed Acupuncturist | Retreat Lead

    Britlynn is a Wood River Valley native who has grown into a passionate practitioner of Acupuncture, Chinese medicine and integrative health. She founded Zen Valley Acupuncture with a mission to empower, and educate our community with accessible, and alternative healing modalities. She specializes in women's health, chronic pain, and trauma-informed care to address mental health from a neuropsycho-emotional perspective.

  • Sarah Murphy

    Substitute Yoga Instructor

    200-hour RYT. For over 15 years, Sarah has taught various styles of yoga, incorporating a blend of slow flow, balance, strength, and flexibility. Her open and honest delivery is accessible and doable by individuals at any fitness level. Sarah's classes offer a connected experience that encourages self-expression, presence, and inquiry to connect to self.

  • Maddie Gittins

    Substitute Yoga Instructor

    Maddie was born and raised in the Wood River Valley. She graduated High school in 2022, took a gap year, and will attend the University of Puget Sound in the fall. She is a Type One Diabetic who has locally and nationally advocated for her disease. In 2021, she suffered a running-induced injury in her lower legs. As a result, she discovered yoga. Her practice quickly became her passion, and she became a certified teacher. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in Lefkada, Greece, in April, with Alpha Yoga School. She cannot wait to share her learnings with the community during the summer months!

    Aside from yoga, she loves reading, traveling, walking her dog Whiskey and meeting new people!

  • Lacie Hernandez

    Substitute Pilates Instructor

    Lacie is a native of Idaho and cherishes the many beauties the state has to offer. She has led an active lifestyle her entire life, from competitive swimming to mountain biking, kayaking, hockey, and backcountry skiing. In 2015 she was introduced to Pilates and quickly gained an appreciation for the overall whole-body benefits that Pilates provides. Shortly after in 2017, Lacie experienced a life-changing accident that would begin a long journey of recovery and Pilates would pave the way to healing. It was at that time she decided to enroll in Balanced Body teacher training. Pilates allows her to continue leading an active life, stay fit and find calm in her day-to-day bustle.

    She strives to help each client feel stronger and more balanced so that they can do what they love and stay pain-free. Lacie continues to develop her knowledge of anatomy and other modalities that complement her Pilates teaching.

    Lacie is Balance Body Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates certified in 2019. TRX certified in 2022. Pregnancy and Post Pregnancy Exercise Corrective Specialist Training certification in progress.
